This will be a Members' Lunch with Rt Hon Sir Nick Gibb, former British Minister of State for Schools.

Sir Nick was instrumental in driving significant reform in the British school system, including the expansion of the academy schools programme, the introduction of the Phonics Screening Check, and the development of a knowledge-rich national curriculum. His recent book, Reforming Lessons, documents his time in office and the challenges of implementing his ambitious policy programme. This event presents a unique opportunity to gain insights from his extensive experience and to discuss the lessons for New Zealand as it embarks on similar reforms.
